Wheelabrator Baltimore is working to gather recycling throughout town

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Wheelabrator Baltimore is stepping up to keep recyclables out of the waste stream.

This is due to the fact that the Baltimore City Public Works Department stopped recycling collection until November due to a staff shortage caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Wheelabrator Baltimore is providing more collection points across the city to keep recyclables out of the waste stream.

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Every Saturday, 30-yard dumpsters collect recycling at Brewers Hill, Butchers Hill, Fells Point, and Riverside.
