Towson males's basketball quickly halts staff actions resulting from optimistic COVID-19 check – CBS Baltimore

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) – Towson University men's basketball team on hold after a player tests positive for COVID-19.

The result came from a test on Monday, the university said.

As a precaution, the game against Drexel has been postponed this weekend.

The university is now working with the Baltimore County Health Department to follow up contacts.

The status of future games is still up in the air.
