Suspect arrested at a Baltimore lodge in lethal New Jersey shootings

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) – US marshals in Maryland have arrested a man who was wanted in a fatal shootout in New Jersey.

Members of a volatile task force arrested 31-year-old Angel Torres from Glassboro at a hotel in Baltimore on Monday.

Torres was charged with the murder of Michael Giancola, 24, of Collingswood on January 2nd.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, Giancola found multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle that crashed into a pole in Camden. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Torres was waiting for an extradition negotiation.
