Police say 17-year-old injured in East Baltimore shootout

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Police are investigating after a 17-year-old was injured in a shooting in East Baltimore on Friday night.
The police were called shortly after 8:30 p.m. Headed to the 1600 block of Normal Avenue to investigate a shooting report.
When the officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy who was suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a district hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Eastern District Shooting detectives were called in to take control of the investigation.
