Penthouse Membership information lawsuit towards Baltimore Metropolis over COVID-19 restriction

The owner of the Penthouse Club filed a lawsuit claiming Baltimore City’s ban on adult entertainment violates the First Amendment.

The city strip club owner wants to be included in the city’s reopening plans.

The lawsuit said that while the city has approved live entertainment at other venues, adult entertainment venues must stay shut.

The owner wants the court to issue a permanent injunction to lift the ban.

WBAL-TV 11 News reached out to the city’s Law Department but has yet to receive a response.
