Metropolis police examine triple capturing in southeast Baltimore

Baltimore, MD (WJZ) – According to Baltimore Police, a police officer was stopped by a 20-year-old man on the 2500 block of McElderry Street at around 3:35 a.m. Saturday morning.

The man suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and told the police that two other people had been shot dead in his home.

The 20-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital and is believed to survive his injuries.

Officers then responded to a house on the 600 block on N. Lakewood Avenue where they tracked down a 21-year-old man who had been shot and a woman who had been shot and was unconscious and unresponsive.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital where the 21-year-old man is in serious but stable condition, but the woman has been pronounced dead.

Homicide detectors are investigating this incident and are working to identify a suspect.
