BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Three people were injured and another was killed in three Christmas morning shootings in Baltimore.
The police are investigating an overnight double shootout. Officials responded to a Shot Spotter alert at around 12:37 p.m. on Friday in the South Carey Street block.
There they found two women, aged 30 and 33, with gunshot wounds. The 33-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is in critical but stable condition, while the 30-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital in good condition.
Gun detectives from the western district are investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information to call (410) 396-2477.

Officers later responded to the 1600 block on Presstman Street to shoot at around 6:17 a.m.
There the police found an unknown man who was unresponsive and suffered from a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was taken to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced dead.
In northwest Baltimore, around 10:36 a.m., officials were patrolling the 3800 block of Hayward Avenue when they heard gunfire. Then they found a 41-year-old man who had been shot in the stomach.
The man was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Police said he was walking in the area when a man got out of a silver Kia and shot him dead.

The Friday morning murder brings the number of murders in the city to 331, seven fewer than at the same time in 2019. Last year there were 348 per capita murders.
Non-fatal shootouts have declined since the same point in 2019. Police said they recorded 715 non-fatal shootings in 2020, up from 760 at the same time last year.
