Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Darryl Williams is expected to present his latest re-opening plan to the school board Tuesday, Nov. 10.

According to the news release, the public will be able to watch and participate as there will be a comment portion for people to express concerns by phone. Written public comments will continue to be accepted. Additional information regarding participation by the public may be found on the Board of Education’s website.

Cindy Sexton, president of the Teachers Association of Baltimore County, says she is anxious to see one as concern over the increase in COVID-19 cases surges.

“We keep looking for those numbers to go in the right direction and they’re not,” said Sexton. “We need a plan for whenever we go back, and so it’s good that we will have a plan.”

The scheduled Board of Education meetings are livestreamed and may be viewed on the BCPS livestream website or on BCPS-TV (Comcast Xfinity channel 73, Verizon FiOS channel 34).
