18-year-old girl killed, three males injured in in a single day Baltimore shootings

An 18-year-old woman was killed and three men were injured in shootings overnight in Baltimore.

City police said officers were called at 12:05 a.m. Sunday to the 1000 block of Hornets Lane, where an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were shot. Both were taken to a hospital, and the woman died a short time later, police said. Police said homicide detectives believe the suspect fled the scene in a silver Cadillac SUV.

City police said officers were called around midnight Saturday to a hospital, where a 37-year-old shooting victim arrived with a gunshot wound to his leg. Police said the victim told detectives he was walking south on York Road toward Greenmount Avenue when he was approached by an unknown man who attempted to rob him. The victim and the suspect began to struggle and the suspect shot the victim.

City police said officers were called around 2:13 a.m. to a hospital, where a shooting victim had arrived. Police said the man, who refused to identify himself, was suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim did tell detectives he had been shot on Gold Street near McCulloh Street.
