15-year-old boy critically injured in gunfight in northwest Baltimore, police say; fifth youngster shot lifeless on the town final week

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Police are investigating after a 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting in northwest Baltimore Thursday night.

Police responded to the 5100 block on Chalgrove Avenue at around 7:16 pm. for a reported shootout.

When the officers arrived, they found the victim, who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition.

This is the fifth child to be shot dead in Baltimore City last week.
